Order my steps, God. Give me insight. Your plan is best. Help me to align my plans to Your plan, and get the best results.

Help me to follow Your blueprint for my life, for my goals and for my advancement. This I decree, in Jesus name. Amen.

The proper terminology for self care is taking care of yourself in all areas of your life. Self care isn't selfish. It's you taking time to care of your well being.  It's catching up on needed rest. It's taking a day off just to be and breathe deeply. It's taking mini moments just to reflect. It's you communicating to yourself that you matter. How can you take care of others if you're burnt out? How can you take care of others if you are not taking care of yourself first? You can only give to others the energy you have. A lack of rest results in a lack of focus. You cannot produce results at a high level if you are always tired and weighed down with the stress of this life. Girl... shake yourself free, and reset. Rejuvenate, regroup and reflect.
