The Truth About the Resurrection of Jesus According to the Bible (Matthew 28)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy
All this time.🤦♀️🙃 Have we as Christians, believers, scholars and theologians declared the resurrection of Jesus accurately? It's imperative to slow down, read, study and meditate on the Scriptures before presenting our finds, facts and the truth to others.
Preach and teach with clarity of philosophical and theological thought that stems from divine revelation as we read the Scriptures. Much of our teachings over the years and decades concerning Jesus resurrection has been partially taught and preached with accuracy. We must build an inner awareness of how the Bible explains and reveals the resurrection of Jesus. We must preach from the context of thoroughly understanding the Scriptures, and not proclaim or declare a emotional or misinterpreted knowledge of what we have heard and learned down through the years and decades about the resurrection of Jesus from others.
Do we fully understand the resurrection of Jesus? Are our timelines correct according to Jewish customs? Did those who taught us about the resurrection of Jesus teach it from a historical point of view or a charismatic Easter filled Sunday point of view?
Yes! Jesus did rise from the dead. Yes! Jesus is alive, but how in heavens did it really happen according to heaven's and the Scriptures account?
Let's discover and excavate the truth together.👌💯
Did Jesus rise from the dead? According to the Scriptures and Levi's (Matthew's) testament in Matthew 28, He did. Jesus rose from the dead. However, Jesus rose from the dead before the angels rolled the stone away from the place He was laid to rest.
The angels arrival to the site of Jesus burial site and rolling the great stone away was to show historical and supernatural evidence that Jesus did rise from the dead just like He said He would during His earthly ministry.
The angel proclaimed to Mary and Mary of Magdala, "Jesus is no longer dead. He is not here. He has risen. He has gone before you to Galilee."
The resurrection of Jesus was evidence.
The angels were divine messengers and witnesses of Jesus resurrection.
Mary and Mary of Magdala were earthly messengers and witnesses of Jesus resurrection.
We are accurate when declare that Jesus supernaturally rose from the dead. However, many scholars, theologians and philosophers inaccurately teach how Jesus rose from the dead. We, also, inaccurately teach the day Jesus was crucified. He could not had been crucified of a Friday.
Jesus said, "In three days I will rise again." Friday would only mark 2 days of Jesus crucifixion. Therefore, if Sunday is the first day of the week according to Jewish customs, then Jesus was crucified on a Thursday marking three full days of His crucifixion.
Jesus is all powerful. He has the power to resurrect people and resurrect Himself from the dead. Jesus submitted to the limitations of humanity, but Him being fully God was not confined by the limitations of humanity.
Jesus told his disciples, "I have the power and authority to lay my life down for the sake of humanity. Furthermore, I have the power and authority to resurrect my own life at the appointed time."
Jesus already made history by raising others from the dead before and after his own resurrection. However, no one in history has ever died and resurrected themselves.👀 This supernatural phenomenon is what sets Jesus a part from all other deities and governments. He is truly God the Son. He has the same governance that God the Father has, yet He is totally submitted to the Father declaring that God the Father is greater than God the Son.
The resurrection of Jesus before the appearance of the angel is concrete evidence that Jesus is all powerful and fully God. His body was transfigured and transformed. The only evidence that was left of Jesus humanity was the nail piercings during His crucifixion.
Jesus now has the supernatural ability to teleport Himself through matter that once restricted His divinity to the limitations of humanity. He could instantly appear, before His disciples without going through an entrance. Jesus witness of His own resurrection supercedes the misrepresentations and misinterpretations of how He was resurrected.
