Life In My 40's for KU Ladies... Living A Life of Faith (December Edition)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy

"Now faith is." Is faith different in your 40's than it is when you're in your 20's and 30's? It could be different. 


For most women it is. Every woman embarks on different tasks and challenges that require a different level of faith throughout her personal journey. Although our tasks and challenges may vary, we can all agree, we  need faith to get us through them. 

I believe faith not only grows us as women, but faith grows with us. We grow into faith through our experiences and our relationship with God. Faith is developed. 

Although, we need faith to become Christians, no one is born with faith. Faith is something we grow through and into. Faith takes root in our hearts, as we trust God and see the evidence of His power working in and through our lives and in and through the lives of others.

At 43, my faith consistently is tried, pruned and reinforced. What I believed God for down through the years has demonstrated the power of God. It, also, revealed how much God really loves me. My personal faith in God down through the years has reinforced my faith, believing God in the face of impossibility and doubt.

"With God all things are possible."☺️

Our faith is tested and tried to be true. Faith refines us and redefines our lives. Faith revives the weakened places in our lives and within our souls.

As we behold the faithfulness of God in action, faith gives us a renewed hope. What God can do with a mustard seed of faith can change the trajectory of not only our lives but the lives of others around us. Faith in my 40's teaches me to despise not small beginnings nor starting over, because God is in the details of new beginnings, new chapters, new dreams, and new destinations in our lives.

God has a plan for my life. Even when God's plan doesn't look like my plans, I will trust His plan versus my plans. Help me to choose Your plan, even when I want to choose my own plans.  Order my steps, God. Give me insight. Your plan is best. Help me to align my plans to Your plan, and get the best results. Mindset The mind is the realm of the upper and inner most hemisphere of the head where knowledge is received, conceived, processed and filtered before passing on to the brain. The mind is the attitude, spirit or life force of knowledge, understanding, wisdom and discretion. Set is to be anchored, established, unmoved, positioned or stabilized. So, mindset is the stability and positioning of a person's attitude after knowledge, understanding, wisdom and/or discretion has been received, conceived, processed and filtered. A mindset is how you think repetitively. It is your mental incline or proclivity. Whether your pattern of thought is right or wrong, it is how you perceive life to be.  Great leaders invest in their minds. Great leaders are intentional about making sure their minds are in the right head space. Great leaders assess their own thoughts.
